Our Story
Hi there—we’re Ralph Kunz and Ralph Kunz Jr., the father-and-son team behind Copperhead Construction LLC.
Ralph: I’ve been in the construction industry since 1991. What began in HVAC evolved into cabinetry, cultured marble, excavation, and working under another general contractor. In 1999, I started my first construction business and built it into a success. By 2004, I shifted focus to explore other areas of interest, but my passion for building never left.
Ralph Jr.: In early 2016, my father approached me with the idea of starting a new general contracting company—one where he could pass on decades of knowledge. What began as small after-work projects quickly grew into a full-time, thriving business. And that’s how Copperhead Construction LLC was born.
Together, we bring over 35 years of combined experience in residential and commercial remodeling, blending hands-on expertise with a deep understanding of how people live, move, and connect in their spaces. We're no longer a two-man crew—our team has grown to include skilled professionals who share our standards, philosophy, and dedication to excellence. Whether we’re renovating a kitchen, building from the ground up, or transforming a workspace, we treat every project like it’s our own.
