Ralph Kunz Sr. is a licensed General Contractor and part owner of Copperhead Construction LLC In Utah. Ralph works in Copperhead Construction LLC’s estimating department. He meets with clients and creates a bid on their custom project. He also starts the planning process and scheduling with Ralph Jr and submitting for permits with the city.

I like to spend a lot of my free time out in the shop — welding, building, or working on motors. I like creating things, especially when it’s something my wife and I come up with together.

Building and fabricating pretty much cover my hobbies! I love taking an idea and turning it into something real — whether it’s a steel project, a motor build, or just something cool for around the house. Seeing something go from an idea to a finished project.

I’m motivated by seeing ideas turn into something real and lasting — whether that’s a remodeled home, a strong team, or a personal project that makes someone smile. I take pride in quality work and the relationships that form through it. Making people happy with the results of what we build together drives me.

What career advice would you give to your younger self? Don’t overthink it — just start. You’ll figure it out as you go. Every project teaches you something new and that’s how you grow.
